Online Debate in Week 9 or 10





Dear Pupils

We will be having an online debate very soon in either week 9 or 10 at the Computer Lab.

In the meantime, please brainstorm for ideas or do some research on the following topic:


Examination & Tests - 
Is it good or bad for children?

    Good.Because i think test or examination is good for children because it can test those children that are taking the examination or a test and it can also let children learn and put what their teachers have teached them and also if they got that question wrong but never mind because learn from the mistakes (this is what Mr Andy had told me before)

    GOOD,it is good because it helps our mind to grow strong,it test our minds to find out the asnwer,it can also tells whether we got listen and revise,it also knowledge our brain and it also helps us to gain high mark and also help us to learn from our mistake because when we make a mistake we can learn from it.

    It is good to children because when you want to go to find work , you must speak english or monther tongue . etc : ' Will you get tired if you were a casher at bakery ?' 'Huh ?'

    However, I dont quite understand what you meant. Do you mean: tests are important as it help us communicate better in the real world? If that's the case, then I think you are referring to Oral Test.

    How about written test (Paper 1 and Paper 2)?

    I also dont quite understand your example when you said "Will you get tired if you were a cashier at the bakery"?

    And the 'huh' at the end seems a little out of place.

    examinations is good for us because it shows how much knowledge we had and it shows how much we had learnt.
